Pulled into the parking lot to see them roasting a pig over an open fire out front. Place smelled so good. Very down how feel. Staff was friendly and attentive. I so wanted the BBQ, but the wife was set on brisket. Which was good but not pink enough for me nor has a crust on it. Which most places do not, that is why I wanted the BBQ. But the brisket was good. The cheese grits were a hit for sure super yummy. Will be back for sure without the wife to try that BBQ.

Great locally owned BBQ place with a lot of entree choices! We sat outside and it was a pleasant area. We were a little surprised that they only have 2 BBQ sauces to choose from, but we mixed them together and it was really good. The side dishes were made fresh and had lots of flavor. We will be back!

This place is awesome! The smokers are right beside the outdoor dining and the smell is heavenly. They also have indoor dining but who can resist that smoker smell? The food is so good! Got the half rack of spare ribs and they melted right off the bone. The collard greens are the best I have ever had. The mashed sweet potatoes are great as well as the beans. You cannot go wrong with this place!!

Absolutely the best place to go for lunch. The food is great, I haven't had anything that I didn't like and I have tried most of it. Even being right on Manatee Ave the outdoor seating is the way to go. Especially when the smoker is going.

Pigout has the best BBQ in Manatee County for sure. Kudos to the cook staff plus Kelley and the other servers. They all really do a fantastic job. I have eaten here at least a dozen times in the past 2 or so months alone. I have had every side dish, each dessert and a lot of the many entrees. Everything is so plentiful and good that I rarely can finish my meal and typically leave with some tasty leftovers. The daily specials are great and the Pork Steak Sizzler is better than the Ribeyes I used to go to Outback for. Give this local BBQ establishment a try and you will be dreaming about when you will return next !

First time trying this place, as we're in town just for a week. Portions are filling, very tasty entree and side options, Kelly our server was amazing! We'd be regulars if we were local. It was very good!! I'd recommend the Mac and Cheese ball appetizer, I got the spare rib/brisket combo with potato salad and baked beans. Potato salad is different than what you'd expect, but it's very good.

Brisket was awful, I don’t even know if we can call it brisket, I have had shoe leather that was more tender, juicy and flavorful. Smoke ring nonexistent, crust nonexistent. I do not recommend going here for the king of the bbq. I would be embarrassed.
